Tenerife is dominated by the magnificent volcano situated in the centre of the island which reaches 3,718 metres high, making it the highest point in the whole of Spain and is the 3rd largest volcano on earth.
Once occupied by the ancient spiritual Guanches who venerated the sun, moon and earth in their wonderful symmetrical artwork.
Tenerife is set in the Atlantic ocean where somewhere the ‘lost’ island of Atlantis lies within it’s depths, where over 11,000 years ago the island of Atlantis and it’s memory were swallowed by the sea, in possibly the deepest part of the Atlantic ocean, the lost civilisation was populated by a noble and powerful race, and like the Guanches, now gone forever, although their fascination and spirituality remains.
Sitting by a waterfall in tropical gardens between mountain and ocean is a most mystical place for quiet contemplation and meditation, with the back drop of mount Teide and the mysticism of its history, whilst facing out to the blue sea where dolphins elegantly play, it is hard to close your eyes to the beauty that surrounds you, but when you do, just feel and breathe in the energy of this special corner of the island of Tenerife, and when you open your eyes it is still all there.
